Summary A world-leading design, engineering and project management organisation are looking to add a Health & Safety Consultant to their regional team based in Scotland. The role can be based in the in either the Glasgow Edinburgh, or Aberdeen Offices and will cover a range of sectors including but not limited to: property, industrial and education. Responsibilities: The role is primarily based on the delivery of CDM Services, although experience of delivering additional associated Health & Safety Services could be an advantage. You will be responsible for delivering a number of roles, which we have established following the introduction of CDM 2015, in all technical and contractual aspects of professional practice while also; - Providing Health & Safety Services on both independent commissions and also to complement our wider project delivery services. - Production of pre-construction information, files and other associated CDM documents - Ensuring Designer compliance. - Reviewing contractors' documentation. - Interfacing with clients and design teams on project basis. - Advise clients on procurement options and consultant appointment issues. - Pro-active in business development of the Services within the Region Keep updated with current legal developments in respect of construction and associated law. Requirements: - We require a consultant with suitable and relevant experience, ideally from a design or construction background. - Professional Qualification in Design or Construction. - NEBOSH qualified (ideally Construction Certificate). - Preferable Member of APS / IOSH. - Experience in a similar role. - Good IT skills and working knowledge of MS Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook. - Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the component parts of CDM2015 and other Health & Safety issues. - Driving Licence For further information and to apply for this role please get in touch with a copy of your CV.
