We are seeking a leader to join the Directorate for Adult Services. This post will be accountable to the Director Adult Social Care. You will provide vision, leadership and direction to support the Director of Adult Social Care in delivering aspirational outcomes for the City of Wolverhampton Council. You will be responsible for formulating and recommending strategies and plans to the Strategic Executive Board, Cabinet and Council. You will embed and continue to improve transformational change across Adult Social Care and wider partnerships. You will work closely with Directors and Deputy Directors within the Families theme as well as a range of partners that make up the health and social care system.
As a qualified Social Worker, educated to degree level or equivalent and with senior management experience, you will be able to demonstrate a proven ability to think strategically and find creative solutions through partnership and collaboration.
