Head of Teaching & Learning
Wirral Met College is looking for a Head of Teaching & Learning to join our Quality team. This is a full-time role (35 hours per week, Mon-Fri) offering a salary of £44,314 to £51,346 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:
The Head of Teaching & Learning will lead and manage the Teacher Education team and work collaboratively with curriculum Heads of Department to drive excellence in teaching, learning, and assessment across the College. A key part of the role will be to promote, embed, and sustain high-quality and consistent pedagogical practice across the College through the oversight, development, and delivery of inspirational, innovative, and up-to-date training programs.
The Head of Teaching & Learning will also play a lead role within the College observation team of Teaching & Learning Coaches.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Professional Teaching Qualification
* Degree-level qualification in a relevant subject area
* L2 Qualifications in Maths and English
* A passionate teacher, committed to outstanding and innovative practice
* Excellent leadership and motivational skills with the ability to inspire and influence staff and students
