We’re hiring for an Assistant Management Accountant

We are recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant within a fast-paced, people-focused, and highly acquisitive organization.
Overview of duties
* Responsible for reporting financial performance for your business line, including the production and reconciliation of monthly management accounts, both P&L and Balance Sheet.
* Assist with all aspects of internal reporting and the month-end reporting process into Group, ensuring adherence to timetables, financial integrity, and completeness.
* Ahead of monthly review meetings with the leadership team, provide commentary and insight into all aspects of financial performance.
* Assist with the annual budgeting process within the business unit, providing insight and analysis into key year-on-year movements.
* Support and manage the financial control processes across the business.
* Monthly income reporting, reconciliation, and income forecasting.
* Champion continuous process improvements via automation, simplification, centralization, and standardization to address business needs and build scalability.
Person specification
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
* Well organized and self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
* Good communication skills and ability to liaise with colleagues at all levels.
* Accurate, with an eye for detail and ability to question everything from a financial perspective.
Education and/or Experience:
* Degree level or equivalent educational qualifications.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills.
* Proven business partnering skills.
* Experience of working within management accounts.
