The Role
We are looking for applications from individuals with a strong all-round knowledge and skill base experience across all areas of horticulture and ground maintenance, to support 4 of our residential services within a 16 mile radius.
Under direction, you will maintain and develop gardens, activity areas and grounds to ensure a high quality, safe and secure provision for the people we support, team members and visitors.
You will be required to understand and follow Health & Safety guidance and ensure that the practices and procedures are conducted in line with our Health and Safety policy.
You will carry out routine garden maintenance to occupied dwellings such as hedge cutting, basic plant care, pruning and weeding.
You will take care of all grounds, ensuing they are clean, safe and litter free.
You will be highly motivated and enthusiastic, able to prioritise, manage and organise your own workload
The Location
Options Autism are looking for a Grounds Person to join our teams in our Roxby House and cover all Adults East sites which are a specialist service, rated CQC Outstanding, which offers high quality support and accommodation for adults with autism, complex needs and/or learning disabilities. We currently have permanent full time roles available – Days or Nights. An ideal role for those interested in supporting adults with varied and complex needs.

We are based in Roxby, Near Scunthorpe and are within commutable distance of Scunthorpe, Brigg, Broughton, Winterton and surrounding villages and towns
