Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Advisor to join our dynamic Service Department. The ideal candidate will have experience in the automotive industry, ideally within a Service Department, and possess a strong passion for customer service and sales. You will have a warm, approachable manner, with the ability to build rapport with clients and effectively communicate service and product benefits. As a Sales Advisor, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and ensuring customer satisfaction by providing tailored solutions to meet their needs. You will be target driven, with a strong desire to succeed and a results-orientated approach.
Responsibilities
1. Answering phone calls for new bookings and quotation requests
2. Responding to online/email enquiries for quotations and bookings
3. Proactively contacting customers due for Servicing and MOTs
4. Calling customers prior to their booked appointment
5. Engaging with customers to understand their needs and provide expert advice on products and services.
6. Achieve individual and team sales targets through proactive selling techniques.
7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product offerings, promotions, and industry trends.
8. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
9. Process transactions accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with company policies.
10. Handle customer enquiries promptly, ensuring a positive customer experience.
11. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and a cohesive work environment.
Requirements
1. Proven sales/customer service experience in the automotive industry is essential, ideally within a Service department
2. Strong customer service skills with a warm, approachable manner
3. Excellent sales ability, to confidently promote services and products
4. Driven to hit targets and succeed, with a results-orientated approach
5. Excellent communication skills, on the phone and through digital channels, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of customers
6. Ability to organise and manage multiple customer interactions efficiently
7. Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
8. Proactive and motivated, always looking for ways to enhance customer satisfaction and service standards
Rewards
Great OTE potential with a strong salary
Monday to Friday (no weekends!) 8am to 5.45pm
33 days' annual leave (including bank holidays)
