REQUIREMENTS - Science Teacher
Applications are welcome from teachers at any stage in their career including ECT's. Science teachers and overseas trained Science teachers will be considered for this position, but applicants should have UK QTS or an overseas formal secondary school teaching qualification recognised in the UK. Ideally you will have experience of working in a mixed ability secondary comprehensive school and can demonstrate the ability to differentiate lessons and manage behaviour accordingly. The School are happy to accept applications from specialists within any of the three subject areas, having flexibility to adjust timetables to suit.
THE ROLE - Science Teacher
A fixed term contract commencing in January on a full time basis working with a good sized Science department who range in experience. The School are succession planning and ideally would appoint someone keen to transfer onto a permanent school contract following a successful probation period. Resources are well planned and shared throughout the team and a collaborative working environment which fosters success is evident. The department is supported by a ell qualified and experienced team of technicians. You will be teaching Key Stages 3 & 4 and educating mixed ability students who are in sets based upon ability.
