The Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join the faculty at this well-regarded secondary school. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality science education, inspiring curiosity, and promoting scientific literacy across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated science lessons in line with the national curriculum.
* Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing targeted support where needed.
* Contribute to the development of the science department’s curriculum and resources.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active learning.
* Participate in school-wide activities, including extracurricular programs and enrichment opportunities.
Candidate Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Experience teaching science at the secondary level, with a track record of strong student outcomes.
* Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
* A commitment to upholding the school’s Catholic ethos while fostering an inclusive environment for all students.
