Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship - Chipmunks Day Nursery
The Aspire Training Team are currently recruiting for a punctual, reliable and enthusiastic individual to join Chipmunks Day Nursery as a Level 3 Childcare Apprentice
Chipmunks Day Nursery is based within the former primary school building in the centre of Upton St Leonards.. Set in lovely grounds the nursery incorporates a large playground used as off road parking. The former school playground provides off road parking to ensure the children's safe arrival. We also have two grassy play areas, a nature garden with potting shed, a vegetable patch, and a large patio for outdoor play. The children aged between nine months and two years are in the Ducks and Ducklings group, led by Room Leader Mel.
The school building lends itself particularly well to nursery use providing plenty of space for all age groups. We also have a sensory room and a ball pit for the younger children. We aim to create a safe and happy environment offering each child stimulating and interesting activities through play. We are happy to cater for children with additional needs.
They are cared for in a warm, secure and caring family atmosphere within which they can develop their social skills and the confidence to explore the world around them. The Cygnets are aged between two and three years and are under the supervision of Room Leader Sue and her team. Here they will begin to learn more social and creative skills and develop their independance.
The children in the Swans room are aged from three years upwards and are taught by Room Leader Alice and her team. Children's individual needs are carefully planned for so that they make good progress in all seven areas of learning. All our staff are positive role models for the children at all times. Parents and carers are valued and respected members of our nursery and will be kept informed, consulted, involved and included at all levels.
