MIG Fabricator/Welder – Structural Steel Location: Bromsgrove Pay: Starting from £15 per hour, dependent on experience Contract: Permanent Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM We are seeking a skilled and reliable MIG Fabricator/Welder to join our team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will work on structural steel projects, ensuring high-quality fabrication and welding to meet project specifications. Key Responsibilities: Fabrication and welding of structural steel components. Reading and interpreting detailed fabrication drawings. Operating overhead cranes to maneuver steelwork. Performing MIG/MAG welding, including multi-run welds up to 25mm. Maintaining a safe and organized workspace. Requirements: Must own and maintain personal tools (squares, punches, basic hand tools). Proficient in reading and working from fabrication drawings. Ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team. Demonstrates expertise in welding to a high standard. Punctuality and reliability are essential. Experience using overhead cranes. Competent in MIG/MAG welding techniques. Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
