Position Overview:
As an X-Ray Field Service Engineer, you deliver technical support, maintenance, and repair services for Agfa Radiology imaging products. You will be based from home and will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and servicing of imaging equipment and associated ICT/electrical equipment. You travel to our customer sites, such as hospitals, clinics, and laboratories, to ensure the proper functioning and optimal performance of our products. You act as a liaison between Agfa Radiology Solutions and our customers, ensuring customer satisfaction and timely resolution of technical issues.
Location: Goole, Yorkshire area
Responsibilities:
* Problem-solving in a responsible and methodical manner whilst carrying out effective customer care skills to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Produce accurate and sufficiently detailed reports to ensure that the customer is kept informed about the work and to satisfy H&S compliance record keeping.
* Observe and adhere to company health & safety guidelines and contribute to a healthy and safe working environment.
* Manage your own schedule for field-based installations, corrective actions, upgrades, and preventative maintenance.
* Return equipment and parts in a compliant timely manner to ISO and WEEE procedures.
Who you are:
* You have an HNC or ONC degree in electromechanics, electronics, computer science, or equivalent, or you have at least a few years’ experience in a similar role.
* You have excellent problem-solving skills.
* You have experience in working in a medical environment.
* You have a valid driving licence cat B.
* You are willing to travel to customers on a daily basis.
* You are a team player.
* You have strong self-motivation.
