Job summary This role of Dental Nurse plays a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality emergency dental care. Working collaboratively within a dedicated team, you will assists Dentists in providing patient-centred services, ensuring a smooth and professional experience under the ethos of "Putting Patients First."The role involves preparing and maintaining the dental surgery for each session, adhering to strict protocols to minimize risks from cross-infection, hazardous chemicals, or radiation. You will also support administrative tasks, working alongside the dentist and receptionist to manage records and schedules effectively, whether manually or through computerised systems.This position requires a strong commitment to patient safety and care, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to maintain high standards of hygiene and compliance. Main duties of the job This role is essential in delivering emergency dental care, supporting dentists in treatments, and ensuring the surgery is prepared, clean, and compliant with strict infection control and health and safety protocols. You will maintain accurate records, handle administrative tasks like stock management, and assist with patient charges, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to legal and organizational standards.Collaboration and professionalism are key, with the nurse working closely with colleagues to provide seamless patient care.
