Communications & Events Officer
College location: East Surrey College (Redhill) and John Ruskin College (Selsdon)
Salary: £28,000 - 32,000 (Subject to qualifications, skills, and experience)
Hours: Full time (37 hours/week) Monday – Friday 8.45am – 5pm
You will be responsible for focusing on increasing Orbital South Colleges’ brand presence using the East Surrey College and John Ruskin College websites, social media platforms, and the growth of event activity; measuring and reporting on campaign outcomes. You will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be prepared to help at various events and activities.
You need to be organised and able to lead on the coordination and delivery of internal and external College events.
The successful candidate must have:
* Degree or equivalent qualification (ideally in a Communications/Digital Marketing related discipline) or relevant professional experience
* Proven experience in a Digital Marketing role
* Experience organising events and working in fast-paced environments
* Exemplary copywriting and proofreading skills with excellent attention to detail
* Excellent use of the English language across written and verbal communication
