HR & Payroll Administrator required for a Logistics company in Derby.
* Permanent
* £28,000 salary per annum
* Hybrid working, 3 days at home
* Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
* Must have right to work, able to provide 2 references, and be located in a commutable distance to Derby
Job Description
* HR (60%) & Payroll (40%) Administrator
* Support employees on day-to-day HR and payroll matters
* Maintain and update personnel data, contract administration, report management
* Assist employee life cycle management including recruitment, on-boarding and off-boarding
* Responsible for monthly payroll preparation, submission to external payroll provider and checking to ensure compliance and accuracy
* Assist with Employee Relations issues including disciplinary and grievance procedures
The Successful Applicant
* HR & Payroll Administrator
* Previously worked in a HR and payroll function
* HR and/or payroll qualification or relevant experience
* Able to work towards the goals and priorities of the team and organisation
* Excellent communication skills, able to build relationships with colleagues across the organisation
* Effective listening, writing and presentation skills
* Proven ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
* Relevant knowledge of UK labour laws and regulations
* Workday system user
