Job Role: Field Service Engineer
Location: Stevenage, Hertfordshire (accepting applications from surrounding areas)
Salary: £37,000-£42,000 per annum + overtime
Hours: Monday-Friday 07.00-16.00 + Door to Door Paid

The client:
Interaction have partnered a well-established industrial cleaning machinery hire and service based client that, due to vast growth, are now looking to expand their field service department with scope to offer a clear route for training & development, progression within the company. Due to company growth and expansion, they are now looking to add an experienced engineer from the Plant, Forklift and/or Automotive industries to their service team.
The package:
Full & Comprehensive Training Scheme surrounding electrical and mechanical fault finding + repair on specific Industrial cleaning products
Company van + fuel card provided
All Travel Time, Expenses paid from home to/from site.
Accommodation and food fully paid for when staying away (1 overnight stay every 2/3 weeks) - £25 overnight food allowance
Overtime available at flat rate
28 days holiday including bank holidays

The Duties:
To attend breakdowns, service and installations on an array of industrial cleaning equipment.
To use diagnostic equipment to diagnose mechanical, electrical, electronic and hydraulic faults.
The use of manual hand tools (Spanners, Screwdrivers), electrical hand tools (powered drills, grinders), lifting equipment (lifting slangs, hoists etc), Hot working tools (Blowtorch, heat guns)
To carry out electrical, electronic, mechanical fault finding and repairs on industrial cleaning equipment, IG Engines (Petrol, Diesel, LPG).
To manage your time effectively to ensure work is carried out to a high standard in a timely manner.
Update job reports and order parts when necessary.
Ensure Health & Safety Procedures are followed
The Requirements:
Electrical, Mechanical and/or Hydraulic fault finding, repair & service experience (essential)
Previous experience working in a mobile position within the Plant, Forklift and/or Automotive industries (essential)
Proven ability to use diagnostic equipment to diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults (essential)
Previous experience working on engines (advantageous)
Relevant qualifications NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (advantageous)
Full UK Drivers License
