We are looking for a PMO Analyst for a 4 -month contract based in Edinburgh on behalf of Royal London. Responsibilities of the role: As the PMO Analyst, you will be responsible for: Monitoring programme/project level risk and issue registers and activities against plans, challenging progress as appropriate. Providing professional guidance about project management to colleagues across the organisation, including project managers and initiative/business owners. Supporting assurance reviews of programmes/projects as appropriate and helping to oversee implementation of recommendations stemming from these reviews. Ensuring the agreed project management methods, standards and processes are being followed throughout the project life-cycle, with the right tool. Producing Regular analysis and reporting on the progress of projects and programmes. Providing support to key governance forums such as capturing minutes, actions & decisions. Managing professional relationships and engage with a wide range of stakeholders both internal and external. What we require from the candidate: Experience of working with Agile and Waterfall planning methodologies PMO and Delivery Experience Tech and Data Work-stream experience Experience of reviewing finances and budgets for projects Financial services experience (preferred) Good knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Office An understanding or experience of Project Management tool-sets and methodology Next steps This client will only accept workers operating via an Umbrella/PAYE engagement model.
