An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Developmental Band 5 Staff nurse to develop into Band 6 Senior Mental Health Nurse or Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our Cove Ward team at Longreach.
At Cove, we support patients that may be admitted informally or detained under a section of the Mental Health Act. Patients may need intensive assessment and immediate intervention.

The successful applicants will support and mentor learners and provide supervision to others as well as providing high levels of clinical care
Working alongside the senior staff nurses the posts enable the successful applicants to act as experienced role models and leaders to junior colleagues but also to develop leadership and managerial skills and enhance their career in mental health. We will support the successful applicant in accessing experiential learning and training .
This is a post that require a high degree of resilience, motivation and commitment and a willingness to help manage team to deliver high quality patient care through being an effective role model.
