We are looking for those of you who wish to grow with us as a business in our Bromsgrove office with hybrid working opportunities. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary plus a range of benefits.
The role is a core function within the Investments Operations Team dealing with general client maintenance as well as cash position monitoring for client accounts excluding AFH Direct. Also providing support and dealing with medium risk queries.
Key Responsibilities as our Investment Operations Administrator will include:
1. To ensure client requests are correctly processed and completed within the agreed SLA
2. To help with processing deceased accounts and death claims
3. To respond to telephone and medium risk inbox queries, escalating where necessary
4. To develop new methods of carrying out existing tasks in order to increase efficiency
5. To update any new changes to model portfolios on provider platforms
6. Cash reporting for low and high cash for a number of providers excluding AFH Direct
7. Processing Bed and Isa’s on various platforms
8. To be a point of contact for consultants, members of the business and the team
9. Ensure that all data is accurate and up to date where appropriate
10. Ensure all completed instructions and transactions match and are fully documented in line with laid down procedures to provide appropriate audit trail and accountability
11. Monitor and maintain accurate diary management and record keeping processes to ensure appropriate activity audit trails are maintained in line with the Firms compliance standards
12. Maintain a clear understanding of the concept of Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) and how AFH Wealth Management seeks to comply with this FCA requirement
13. Abide by AFH Group procedures and standards in relation to anti-money laundering, data security and confidentiality and to complete training and assessment as required
14. Support reporting staff in the event of absence and tax year end
15. Any reasonable request made by Director/Senior Manager of the Company
What we are looking for in our ideal Investment Operations Administrator:
1. Good knowledge of the Financial Services Market and Investment Products
2. Relevant Operational procedures knowledge
3. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
4. Working knowledge of Pershing’s Nexus, XPlan and Nexus Complete Software Systems preferred as well as other providers used
5. Knowledge of TCF Principles and GDPR and how they apply to the individual role
