Aston Community Education Trust are a forward thinking and ambitious multi-academy trust, comprising of three secondary academies and nine junior academies across the Rotherham, Sheffield and North Derbyshire areas.
An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, approachable and committed individual to join Aston Community Education Trust. The successful candidate will work as part of a team of IT Technicians to provide technical support for users of all IT hardware, software and systems.
This role is working 37 hours per week - Specific working hours will be between 7.30am â 5.00pm (to be agreed with the successful candidate on appointment)
The post-holder will be based at Aston Academy but you will be required to travel to the other academies within the trust to ensure an efficient and effective service is provided in all ACET locations by the IT Services team. Therefor a valid UK driving licence is required for all candidates.
This post may be attractive to those who have gained ICT skills through either education (i.e. school / college) or personal interests, or to those already in a similar role wishing to take the next step in their career in a forward thinking organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to gather technical skills in all aspects of IT from hardware to cyber security.

Successful candidates will be subject to a DBS check at the appropriate level.
