Chelmsford College is seeking to appoint an innovative, motivated and enthusiastic Life Skills tutor to deliver a comprehensive Life Skills Programme. This role is perfect for individuals looking to progress in the field of education and to make a meaningful impact on learners’ lives.
As a flexible, creative and pro-active professional, you will work alongside the Life Skills and Enrichment Manager to ensure a high-quality experience for learners being prepared for life in modern Britain.
The Life Skills Tutor role involves delivering a wide range of highly transferable skills, supporting the delivery of wider enrichment activities, and facilitating Learner Voice meetings and events. You will be required to deliver up to 30 prepared sessions per week on various Life Skills topics, including British values, employability, safeguarding, and health and wellbeing.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organisational skills, demonstrate a passion for engaging with learners, and have a strong commitment to ongoing professional development.
