About the Role: We are seeking an outstanding and inspirational leader to join our dynamic Physical Education department as a Female PE Teacher. Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Vision: Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Girls' PE program, aligning with the school's overall vision and educational goals. Develop and implement a curriculum that is engaging, challenging, and promotes lifelong participation in physical activity for all girls. Ensure the Girls' PE program complies with national curriculum requirements and incorporates innovative teaching methods. Teaching and Learning: Lead by example, teaching high-quality PE lessons that foster a love of sport and physical activity amongst girls of all abilities. Oversee the work of PE teachers within the Girls' program, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the Girls' PE program, implementing improvements based on data analysis. Relationships and Wellbeing: Build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents, fostering a positive and inclusive environment within the Girls' PE program. Promote the importance of physical and mental well-being amongst girls, encouraging healthy lifestyle choices. Champion equal opportunities for all girls to participate and excel in PE and sports. Extracurricular Activities: Oversee and develop a range of extracurricular sports clubs and activities for girls, catering to diverse interests and abilities.
