An opportunity has arisen for a suitably experienced practitioner to join our team supporting care experienced young people to make successful transitions into independence. We are committed to a Trauma informed and relationship based approach and to delivering the values and principles of the Care Leavers Covenant and The Promise. We offer access to high quality training support and supervision, with manageable caseloads in an experienced and supportive team. The post will be based in West Argyll, covering Oban, Lorne and the Isles as well as Mid Argyll, Kintyre and Islay localities. The successful candidate will be required to travel widely across Argyll and Bute to meet the needs of the young people we support. This may involve working evenings and weekends on a planned basis Argyll and Bute Council recognises the numerous benefits of a positive work-life balance to the wellbeing and productivity of our employees.
