Job Title: Disrepair Manager

Salary: GBP50,000 - GBP55,000 + Car Allowance
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Disrepair Manager to oversee and deliver effective disrepair and reactive maintenance services within a social housing contract. Based out of the Croydon office, you will be responsible for leading multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality service delivery, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage a team of Supervisors, Administrators, Planners, and Operatives to deliver a responsive and efficient disrepair service.
* Oversee and continuously improve customer satisfaction across the contract, ensuring service excellence.
* Review and manage large multi-trade repair jobs to ensure accurate scheduling, correct trade allocation, and appropriate timeframes.
* Collaborate with the Commercial team to monitor and resolve invoicing issues that may impact contract profitability.
* Ensure all operations are conducted in full compliance with Health and Safety standards and internal operating frameworks.
* Contribute to the strategic planning and execution of maintenance works in alignment with contract expectations and budgetary constraints.
Person Specification:
* Significant experience in the Repairs and Maintenance sector, particularly within social housing.
* Demonstrable success in managing large-scale maintenance contracts and diverse teams, including both direct labour and supply chain partners.
* Proven ability to manage and enforce Health and Safety protocols and regulations.
* Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, profit/loss margins, and invoicing issues.
* Exceptional organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering results and improving resident satisfaction.
* Full UK driving licence is essential.
