A great opportunity has arisen for a warehouse apprentice to join the team at Daro. You will work closely with the production team to ensure the smooth production of goods to their customers and ensure all aspects of the warehouse function smoothly including stock control. What will the apprentice be doing? Booking goods in and out on the computer system Placing stock in the correct location within the warehouse Picking orders for delivery Packing and labelling orders for dispatch Monitoring and maintaining stock levels Following company health and safety guidelines General housekeeping duties in the warehouse What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end? Level 2 Supply Chain Warehouse apprenticeship standard, including Functional Skills if required. You will work with expert assessors to develop new knowledge, skills and behaviours within the profession You will experience a blended learning model including online and face to face You will gather learning evidence, via off-the-job training records and work through a portfolio This is a work based programme which means that all of your learning will take place on the site of your employment and within your contracted working hours. We support you through regular visits from your training officer to the place or work throughout the apprenticeship. You may also be required to attend in person at WEBS Training based in Beeston Nottingham and virtually via Microsoft Teams or Zoom. At the end of the planned learning period, it will be agreed that you are ready for your End Point Assessment. What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship? We work with various sectors designing and developing soft furnishings and homeware for winning product lines.
