About the Dean Banks Group

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead the operations of this exciting new restaurant, ensuring it becomes a must-visit destination for locals and visitors alike.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leadership & Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth service, high standards, and a memorable guest experience.
* Team Development: Recruit, train, and manage a talented team of front-of-house and kitchen staff, fostering a positive work culture and a commitment to excellence.
* Customer Experience: Maintain a focus on exceptional service, ensuring all guests receive a world-class dining experience, consistent with the Dean Banks Group’s reputation.
* Financial Management: Manage budgets, control costs, and maximize profitability through effective resource planning, stock management, and cost control.
* Compliance & Standards: Ensure the restaurant complies with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, and maintains the high standards expected from the Dean Banks Group.
* Supplier & Stock Management: Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, oversee ordering, and ensure the highest quality produce and beverages are consistently available.
* Marketing & Events: Work with the marketing team to drive footfall and promote the restaurant, including planning special events, seasonal promotions, and collaborations.
* Reporting: Provide regular reports on restaurant performance, including financial targets, customer feedback, and operational efficiencies, to senior management.
Required Experience and Skills:
* Proven experience as a General Manager, preferably in a high-end or fine dining environment.
* Strong leadership and team management skills, with a passion for mentoring and developing talent.
* Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on delivering a premium guest experience.
* Solid financial acumen, with experience managing budgets, forecasting, and maximizing profitability.
* In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations, including food safety standards, licensing, and supplier management.
* A passion for food, drink, and hospitality, with a keen understanding of industry trends.
* Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with excellent attention to detail.
