About the Job Games Workshop is recruiting an exciting opportunity for a BI Systems Analyst initially on a 12 month contract to bridge the gap between the business needs and the technical solution. We are looking for an experienced individual who understands the value of teamwork to work collaboratively with business users to understand business processes and the underlying data flows ensuring that BI solutions always align with Games Workshop's operational needs. Possessing strong analytical and problem-solving skills will allow you to document business requirements and identify potential solutions ensuring that you deconstruct complex challenges into manageable steps when suggesting new systems or upgrades. A commercial and pragmatic approach will allow you to assess whether the potential solution is practical for both technical feasibility and business suitability. Taking ownership and responsibility for driving processes you will contribute to the design of the technical solution by considering both functional and non-functional requirements ensuring scalability and performance. You will demonstrate a strong commitment to consistency, ensuring that all tasks are completed with the highest level of accuracy whilst supporting solution testing during both system testing and user acceptance phases to validate functionality and ensure a smooth implementation. This role requires excellent working relationships, strong critical thinking, and decision-making skills as you will collaborate with data engineers and developers to optimise data flows and reporting structures, always ensuring you provide clear and concise information. The ideal candidates will have demonstrable experience within Data Warehousing within a Business Intelligence environment (both On premises and Cloud) knowledge of systems analysis and design tools, databases and SQL coupled with an investigative and inquisitive mindset with the willingness to learn new languages and frameworks.
