The role will see you building and maintaining Community Integrated Care’s Capability Framework for our frontline colleagues that defines the knowledge, skills and behaviour for each role in enabling the people we support to live the best life possible, meeting all organisational and regulatory requirements. Delivering the Capability Framework is a strategic priority for the Charity. It is a key enabler of our engagement strategy to ensure our frontline colleagues are suitably supported to succeed in their role, through the development opportunities they have access to. Training provision within Community Integrated Care is delivered through a network of geographically aligned Learning & Development Coaches and Facilitators, external partners and eLearning. It is the responsibility of the Capability Development Team to define the capability standards of our frontline roles, that in turn set the learning objectives for our training Day to Day (list not exhaustive see attached job description) Interpret trends, legislation and guidance in the Care sector to inform the development of the capability framework and make recommendations on how to ensure the required standards are adequately covered. Working with Subject Matter Experts, support the alignment of the Capability Framework with all relevant Care Sector quality, legal, regulatory compliant standards and obligations. Facilitate our internal subject matter experts, key contributors and other key stakeholders through the capability development process, to assess the needs and the impact required, define the capability, review existing content, determine the appropriate assessment methodology and set the brief for learning solutions. Collaborate with colleagues in the L&D Centre of Excellence to coordinate activity for the development of capabilities through to training solutions being live. This includes providing weekly updates in team meetings and escalating as issues in a timely manner. Contribute to the development of engagement strategies for the capability framework, such as capability assessments & learning pathways, to ensure the capability framework is embedded.
