Job overview
An exciting opportunity has become available to join the Capel Annex team as their new Ward Manager and team Leader.
We are seeking an experienced Nurse with strong communication, clinical, and managerial skills to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will provide leadership to our Nurses, Nurse Associates, and Nursing Assistants, with the support of the Matron and Practice Development Nurses.
Capel Annex is a 21-bed General medical Ward with Endocrine and Vascular speciality, receiving patients from the Emergency Department and Acute Medical Unit for treatment. As Ward Manager, you will be expected to foster strong relationships both within the nursing team and across multidisciplinary teams. You will also provide professional support and promote the well-being of the staff.
The successful candidate should possess excellent leadership and clinical abilities, with at least two years of experience at Band 6 level or higher.
