We have an exciting opportunity for a Primary Care Nurse to join our Healthcare team at HM Dovegate, a category B Prison near Uttoxeter in Staffordshire.
In this role, you'll work with a multi-disciplinary team that will support you and help you succeed.
Hours
The site offers a 24-hour service with various shift patterns, including:
* Monday to Friday: 06:45 - 22:00
* Saturday and Sunday: 07:45 - 20:00
Flexible working hours, including part-time or full-time, can be considered. Shifts will follow a rolling 4-week pattern.
Salary
Annual salary ranges from £33,232 to £40,211, depending on experience.

Main duties of the job
As a Primary Care Nurse, your responsibilities include:
* Delivering a nurse-led service to prevent hospital admissions
* Undertaking medication rounds, dispensing controlled medication, attending emergency situations, assessing patients, and reception screening
* Providing non-judgemental care
* Building strong links with partners and stakeholders

Requirements
* Registered nurse (Adult) with current NMC registration
* Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
* Understanding of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working
* Non-judgmental and compassionate approach
* Excellent communication skills
Experience in hospital, community, or prison settings is preferred but not essential.
