We are looking for someone who is a dedicated and highly motivated person, able to provide high quality support to children with very high needs and challenging behaviours. The candidate needs to:- Have a minimum of 2 years experience of working with children of primary school age Have experience of working with children with additional needs, especially Autistic Spectrum Disorder Have high expectations for all children Be able to enthuse, motivate and engage children in all areas of learning Be able to work independently to deliver, monitor and evaluate the success of interventions Work as part of an effective team Have the ability to build and maintain successful relationships with pupils, treating them consistently and with respect Have excellent communication skills and be committed to building positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff Carry out administrative tasks to a high standard Be prepared to contribute to all aspects of school life Interested candidates are welcome to visit the school before applying for the post.
