What you’ll do
We are seeking a Change Risk Analyst to join our Second Line of Defence (2LoD) team. This role will support the oversight, challenge, and assurance of key strategic initiatives and associated risks, ensuring effective risk management practices in line with regulatory expectations and best practices.
* Embedded oversight of strategic initiatives to provide check and challenge during the lifecycle of an initiative.
* Formalised oversight of strategic initiatives to provide 2LoD risk opinions, to support decision making at key points in time during the lifecycle of an initiative.
* Thematic and deep-dive reviews to provide assurance that change delivery risks are managed within risk appetite, with appropriate actions raised to address gaps and issues identified (where necessary).
* Review and challenge portfolio management and change delivery controls and actions to ensure appropriateness to address any gaps identified (where necessary).
* Regular engagement with wider Risk and Compliance teams to understand any operational, compliance, regulatory, conduct or financial risks affecting the change portfolio and change delivery.
* Provide active support in the management and oversight of DLG’s Risk Appetite.
* Provide input into the production of reporting on change risk, to the relevant Risk Committee(s).
* Utilisation of the Group risk management system, Workiva, to provide thorough analysis of risk actions, events, controls, metrics and management information for review by the Head of Area.
* Engagement with the business to ensure the completeness and accuracy of risk information contained within Workiva, including its compliance with the Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF).
* Working collaboratively with the 2LoD Risk Framework team to facilitate activities (where required) and provide insight to central Enterprise Risk Management processes such as the Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RSCA) Process, and the Emerging Risk process.
* Promote a strong risk and control culture and general awareness of risk management within DLG.
What we are looking for
* Experience in change / project / programme / transformation audit or risk management would be beneficial (preferably within financial services or regulated industries).
* Ability to interpret complex technical risk issues and present them clearly to stakeholders.
* Strong numeracy, analytical and research skills.
* Strong planning and organisational skills.
* Awareness of the balance between risk, control and growth.
* Self-motivated, able to generate new ideas, and solve problems.
* Strong Stakeholder Engagement skills.
* Experience of GRC systems would be beneficial.
