Wolverhampton Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days WFH)
In this role, you’ll be a key player in the Revenue and Insights team of a major hospitality brand. You’ll be working closely with senior stakeholders and directors in the company augmenting the revenue team with a new data science function.
There’s vast amounts of data available to help you build this function and an opportunity to help build a new revenue management system. You’ll take your findings to the highest level of the business and help them implement data driven decisions that make an impact in a tight market.
The ideal person for this role has experience of revenue management data, data modelling, revenue forecasting and a real passion for data. What’s on offer is training, support and a clear path to promotion.
Role responsibilities
* Work individually and collaboratively with other data scientists to build Revenue Management System (RMS)
* Take responsibility for revenue forecast providing key outputs to business leaders to inform appropriate actions
* Design and develop advanced models for algorithmic pricing strategies
* Conduct robust testing (simulation and real-life A/B) to measure impact
* Champion science within the business function furthering our understanding of our market, offer, and our guests
* Support head of revenue management in driving the adoption of best practice revenue management across the business
Skills required
* Experience of working with large data sets
* Any experience with revenue data
* Experience from a relevant industry like retail or FMCG
* Python, R and the ability to bring ideas to the table
* Best practices and a desire to build a small team
* The ability to help build a new function
