This position is designed for business development professionals who have a passion for learning and personal growth, as well as experience in B2B. Scope : To identify and engage with on-profile decision makers in the South-West, before booking them into a taster session or a meeting with a Sandler consultant. We are looking for someone who can competently develop and bring in warm leads through outbound activities, such as cold calling, social selling, cold emails and face-to-face networking. Location : Woodbury, outside Exeter (as we are based in a semi-rural location, owning a car is necessary, but free parking is available at the business park). Some travel may be required, largely in the South West with opportunities to visit the East Coast of the US for company conferences. Hours and place of work: · Full time. · Some pre-agreed flexibility over the structuring of working hours. · Office-based, but with some pre-agreed, remote working if desired. Role function Responsibilities : · Completing pre-agreed quantities of daily prospecting activities, including outbound calls, LinkedIn messages, emails, etc. · Building a network of on-profile prospective customers using digital platforms · Engaging with a captive audience who have responded to posts/ articles and videos · Posting thought-provoking and stimulating content (using Sandler’s extensive library of resources) to position us as thought leaders in our field · Joining relevant network groups to generate on-profile leads and introductions · Channelling ideal customers into meetings, events, and taster training sessions · Initiating and securing speaking opportunities for the team from networking · Tracking lead pipeline and analysing data, updating internal CRM (HubSpot) · Following up and qualifying leads driven by marketing · Building strategic alliances Skills, experience, results and attributes: · Open to learning, feedback and personal growth · Experience and proven results in B2B digital sales/ prospecting including using tools like HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and a B2B database (like ZoomInfo). · Have an excellent and demonstrable lead generation record. · Commercially aware with an ability to maximise opportunities. · Relationship builder (both externally and internally) · Organised, with an ability to manage own workload and priorities. · Inspires trust and confidence and is personally responsible · Professional, approachable, and personable · Comfortable communicating with and influencing senior decision-makers. · Possess strong communication and literacy skills. · Willingness to make daily outbound calls · Celebrates team victories and personal successes · Hardworking and open to new ideas or approaches Training : A core benefit of working at Sandler includes extensive professional development through training, coaching, and attending conferences.
