£32,000 – £35,000 + Commission + £400 car allowance pcm
My client based in Winnersh is seeking a Sales Representative to join their team!
They are an industry-leading company that offers a variety of products and services such as Waste Management, Plant and Tool Hire, and much more! You will be responsible for finding and generating sales opportunities for both new and existing accounts, building strong relationships with customers to increase retention, and having a confident understanding of services to present a solution-based approach.
Duties
1. Provide exceptional, pro-active account management to new and existing clients for all waste services to achieve and exceed targets.
2. Proactively find and generate sales opportunities for both new and existing accounts.
3. Generate customer meetings and produce presentations.
4. Assess and educate customers on improving recycling targets and hold waste information days on customer sites to promote a better understanding of recycling.
5. Build strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business.
6. Actively quote for work and build a pipeline of prospective clients.
7. Understand customer requirements and find suitable solutions to meet those needs.
8. Have a core understanding of services to present a waste solution.
9. Directly interface with clients to assist with the resolution of customer concerns.
10. Collate a database of information regarding contacts/leads, etc.
11. Ensure smooth implementation of new business from quoting to contract signing.
12. Engage in and evaluate customer feedback to ensure service meets or exceeds expectations (and is in line with legislation).
13. Be fully aware of and promote health and safety.

1. Strong commercial understanding of waste recycling.
2. Strong financial acumen.
3. Strong business development and sales experience.
4. Driven and enthusiastic with the ability to understand needs.
5. Excellent negotiation and closing skills and strong presentation skills.
6. Self-motivated and a good motivator.
7. Proactive and constructive in problem-solving.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. IT literate.
10. Must possess excellent organisational skills, meeting deadlines, and planning and prioritising workloads.
