As the Assistant Project Manager for the Enabling Works Programme, you will provide support to ensure the successful planning and delivery of a range of projects. You will work closely with senior project managers, supporting key construction and commercial aspects of the programme to help deliver new, innovative healthcare facilities. Who We're Looking For: We are seeking an organised and collaborative Assistant Project Manager with experience in construction or project management. Knowledge of NHS or healthcare environments is desirable but not essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders are key to succeeding in this role. Main duties of the job Strategic Support: Assist in delivering construction and commercial aspects of the Enabling Works Programme, ensuring best practices and adherence to NHS sustainability and Net Zero targets. Operational Oversight: Support the monitoring and reporting of key milestones and help with the set-up of project teams, budgets, and contracts. Leadership: Build strong relationships across teams and facilitate the resolution of project issues, ensuring progress is well communicated. Programme Delivery: Support the development of comprehensive delivery plans, business cases, and procurement strategies to ensure successful project delivery. Budgetary Support: Assist in managing the £50m programme budget, ensuring value for money and financial compliance.
