Job Summary
Oldham College is seeking an experienced and dedicated HSE Manager to lead health, safety, and environmental sustainability efforts across the Colleges diverse operations.
Reporting directly to theHead of Estates, this role involves shaping and implementing Health and Safety strategies, policies, and compliance frameworks, ensuring the College remains a safe and compliant learning and working environment.
Role Responsibilities
In this critical role, the HSE Manager will develop and drive the Health and Safety strategy, aligning it with legislative requirements and the Colleges strategic priorities. They will oversee Health and Safety policies and the implementation of an agenda that promotes a culture of safety, positively impacting students, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities also include conducting audits, assessing College-wide safety performance, and identifying opportunities for improvement, thus ensuring legal compliance and adherence to best practices.
