Role Summary
As an SAP Finance Consultant, you will lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP S/HANA Finance solutions. This role requires expertise in SAP FI/CO modules and integration with other SAP and third-party systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that SAP Finance solutions align with business requirements and industry standards. This position is ideal for someone who can combine technical knowledge with strategic insight, enhancing business processes and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
What You Will Do
1. Design, configure, and deploy SAP S/HANA Finance (FI/CO) solutions that meet business and compliance requirements.
2. Lead integration efforts to ensure seamless interaction between SAP Finance and other modules (, MM, SD, PP).
3. Collaborate with finance teams and technical stakeholders to align solutions with business objectives.
4. Identify and implement improvements to financial processes to boost efficiency and accuracy.
5. Oversee the development and execution of user training and maintain thorough documentation of configurations and processes.
6. Ensure adherence to financial regulations and maintain governance controls for data accuracy.
7. Stay current with SAP trends and recommend innovative solutions for enhanced performance.
8. Provide expert-level system support and assist in guiding an offshore team handling maintenance services.
Key Responsibilities
9. SAP Solutions Leadership : Direct the configuration and deployment of SAP S/HANA Finance solutions.
10. Solution Design & Configuration : Develop solutions that reflect business requirements while following industry best practices.
11. System Integration : Lead the integration of SAP Finance with other SAP modules and third-party tools.
12. Business Process Improvement : Evaluate current processes and propose enhancements to align with best practices.
13. Governance & Compliance : Ensure that solutions meet regulatory and corporate standards.
14. User Training & Documentation : Create comprehensive training materials and lead user training.
15. Continuous Improvement : Regularly review and improve SAP functionalities to meet business needs.
16. System Support and Maintenance : Deliver high-level support for SAP Finance users and coordinate with offshore teams for ongoing support.
Qualifications
17. + years of experience in SAP Finance, including product costing and COPA.
18. Proven experience in SAP S/HANA implementation, configuration, and support.
19. Advanced knowledge of SAP FI/CO modules (GL, AP, AR, AA, CO) and their integration.
20. Strong understanding of IFRS, GAAP, and other financial standards.
21. Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori and financial reporting tools.
22. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
23. Ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
24. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and SAP Solution Manager.
25. Knowledge of connected financial applications like SAP Group Reporting, SAP Analytics Cloud, and external tax solutions (, Vertex, OneSource).
26. Prior experience in life sciences, GxP environments, or manufacturing industries is preferred.
