Insurance Customer Service Representative / 60926
$20–$23/HR(DOE)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM (flexibility for hybrid after training)
We are seeking a detail-oriented Insurance Customer Service Representative to join a growing team in Syracuse, NY. In this role, you will assist clients with policy inquiries, payments, coverage changes, and general account management. You’ll handle both personal and commercial insurance accounts, working with a variety of carriers to provide top-tier customer support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Respond to phone and email inquiries about insurance policies and coverage options.
* Process policy modifications, cancellations, and payments.
* Verify new policyholder information and issue proof of insurance.
* Assist customers with billing concerns and claims-related questions.
* Maintain accurate client records and follow up on outstanding inquiries.
* Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and DMV-related policy updates.
Qualifications:
* Customer service experience required (insurance industry preferred).
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office and basic spreadsheet use.
* Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn—training is provided!
