Position Overview
Based at East Point Academy, the successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and supporting the overall progress and development of Year 11 students as a Maths tutor. The successful candidate will ideally have teaching experience and an understanding of the theory and practice of providing effectively for the individual needs of students.

Main Responsibilities
* To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a tutor and therefore contribute to raising standards of student attainment.
* To facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.
* To share and support the School's responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
* Maths qualification equivalent to Degree level.
* Qualified Teacher Status would be desirable.
* Experience of teaching in a secondary Academy.
* Theory and practice of providing effectively for the individual needs of all students.
* The monitoring, assessment, recording, and reporting of pupils’ progress.
