Our Primary Pupil Referral Unit is a place where we provide tailored support to students who need extra help to overcome challenges and engage with their learning.
What Will You Be Doing as a Students Support Worker?
As a Students Support Worker, you'll work closely with primary school students, offering guidance and support in the classroom and beyond.
You will assist students who may have behavioural or emotional needs, helping them to manage their feelings and improve their school experience.
The role involves helping students stay engaged with their work and encouraging positive behaviour, both in lessons and during breaks.
Every Students Support Worker in our team sits with the students during lunchtime, providing an opportunity to build rapport and create a sense of community.
Who Are We Looking For?
You should have GCSEs in Maths & English (Grade C/4 or above).
We want someone who is open-minded, adaptable, and committed to supporting young people - our best Students Support Workers are patient and resourceful.
A great sense of humour - being a Students Support Worker means keeping things light and knowing when to make learning fun!
The ability to connect with students, help them build trust, and support their personal development.
