The Role:
We are looking for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our team, focusing on sourcing, engaging, and placing top-tier talent within the Building Control & Surveying sectors (opportunity in both our contract, and permanent recruitment markets – tailored to suit). This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a high performing team, building strong client and candidate relationships, whilst contributing to a growing sector.
Key Responsibilities:
· Source and Identify Talent: Use a variety of recruitment tools to find top candidates
· Candidate Management: Guide candidates through the recruitment process, from initial contact to placement, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
· Manage the Recruitment Cycle: Oversee the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, interviewing, negotiating offers, and managing placements.
· Market Research: Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities and provide insight to clients and candidates.
· Build and Manage Client Relationships: Establish strong, long-term relationships with clients, understanding their recruitment needs and providing tailored solutions.
· Business Development: Assist in the growth of the business by identifying new clients and job opportunities within your specialist markets.
· Work as Part of a Team: Collaborate with the wider team to share knowledge, ideas, and strategies for achieving collective success.

· Strong Communication Skills: You’ll need to confidently engage with clients and candidates, both over the phone and in person.

· A Willingness to Learn: whilst prior experience in recruitment is not essential, a positive attitude and willingness to learn is key.
