Job Title: Senior Operational Manager – Senior Leadership Programme
Salary: £63,500 - £78,000 depending on experience
Contract: Full time & permanent
Location: Desford, Leicestershire

You'll rotate through various functions, including Operations, Quality, Lean, Assembly, Paint, and Manufacturing Engineering, gaining invaluable insights and broad experience across the business. What you will do:
As a Senior Operational Manager on this rotational program, you will hone and develop your skills further to be accountable for, but not limited to:
* Inspire and lead teams: managing staffing, development, and performance programs with a focus on growth and excellence.
* Shape the operational business: guiding various teams across Operations and Supply Chain functions, driving strategic initiatives.
* Enhance performance: through the implementation of safety, cost, and quality control measures, ensuring continuous improvement.
* Champion LEAN and Process Excellence: initiatives, fostering a culture of efficiency and innovation.
* Empower team members: to develop their skills and knowledge, aiming for world-class performance and personal growth.

What You Can Demonstrate:
* Manufacturing Operations & Safety: Boost productivity and safety with your expertise in manufacturing and LEAN principles. Foster a safety culture, identify hazards, comply with regulations, and maintain high standards.
* Quality Management: Leverage your skills and knowledge in quality management and the available tools to create, and sustain, an environment that meets and exceeds company goals.
* Analytical Thinking: Apply analysis techniques to identify problems and develop effective solutions.
What You May Have:
* Cross-functional business experience in operations including 6 Sigma, LEAN & operational efficiency improvements.
* Proven leadership experience of managing a large team of 30+ or more people, with strong personal development on leadership attributes.
Telephone interviews: will take place WC 10 February with face-to-face WC 17 February.
