THE ROLE:
We are looking for an on-site AV engineer based in central London to support our meeting room estate plus assist with events and pitches.
The successful candidate will manage and support our existing meeting/conference rooms ensuring that all equipment is in operational order plus assisting staff with best practices and training.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Onsite AV Engineer’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Ensure all audio visual and media services are delivered to the business in a professional and efficient manner
* To take ownership of all AV issues onsite and be the single point of contact
* Offer support and assistance to clients both virtually and in person
* Ensure all equipment onsite is maintained and kept in working order with all faults escalated to hardware suppliers
* Daily system checks to ensure equipment and room functionality
* Work closely with the help desk, office support and new business
* Set up and monitor Research Group meetings
* Provide support for onsite/offsite events
* Supports remote offices where possible and advises on best practices
Work Experience:
* Excellent knowledge of industry-standard online platforms such as Google Meet, Teams, Zoom etc
* Knowledge of AV hardware, primarily Logitech, any additional such as Polycom, Crestron would be a bonus
* Experience with using video cameras
* Good knowledge of Apple and Windows technologies.
* Knowledge of networking
* Good fault-finding experience
