LI-Hybrid This is the job Join our growing Mobile App & Engagement product team to shape, deliver, and optimise Mobile App features and propositions for the AA’s 3.3 million breakdown customers. We have multi-year investment to develop our core mobile app and are looking for an experienced Senior Product Owner to shape the roadmap and deliver brilliant app experiences and propositions. The mobile app is central to our Digital strategy to drive more engagement from AA members, deepen their relationships with us, and increase self-serve across our base. You will play a critical role in ensuring alignment between business stakeholders while also providing digital best practices to ensure a market-leading customer experience. What will I be doing? Lead the creation and execution of the Mobile & Engagement product roadmap, ensuring alignment with the strategic vision and addressing customer needs. Use data and customer feedback to inform direction and leverage analytics to measure the efficiency of both user-facing features and platform performance. Inspire and lead one or more Feature Teams to shape, deliver, and optimise new features on time and within budget. Act as the primary point of contact for the product area, bridging the gap between customer, business, and digital delivery teams. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to keep them engaged and informed of progress, including organising and leading internal demos, retrospectives, backlog grooming, and refinement sessions. Define KPIs and actively measure performance, providing and explaining relevant business metrics and objectives to the development team. What do I need? Proven experience as a Product Owner in a digital environment, focusing on B2C web and app platforms, with a strong emphasis on customer journeys through development, delivery, and analysis. Experience in direct line management or significant coaching/mentoring of team members, as well as leading projects or task groups. Exceptional stakeholder management and engagement skills, with the ability to influence, challenge, and empower others. Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to identify opportunities and issues through thought leadership, create solutions, and interpret and report on data and digital performance trends. Excellent UX sensitivity, with a deep understanding of customer needs and behaviours, user-centric design, and digital tools and technologies. Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence is essential, and familiarity with Google Analytics is highly desirable. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic and evolving environment, with outstanding organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
