Job Summary: Dragados is recruiting for two Senior Commercial Manager roles in Euston to oversees and manage the cost management and contract management aspects of the project from initiation to close-out. Senior Commercial Manager (Utilities South) Senior Commercial Manager (Design packages) Key responsibilities: Administer contractual terms and conditions for suppliers and sub- contractors. Administer incentivisation arrangements as appropriate. Oversee the assessment of compensation events. Provide regular cash flow forecast of expenditure. Manage the change management process, consult with other functions to assess changes and risks to the overall project out-turn. Produce of a monthly consolidated project-wide cost / expenditure report. Manage the monthly valuation process. Manage potential contractor and supplier claims. Manage the adjudication of claims and make recommendations for settlement. Oversee the finalisation of contractor's accounts and close out contractor contracts for the project. Manage the process to raise consultant, supplier or contractor instructions as necessary for signature by approved parties. Manage the financial contingency built into packages and ensure that contingency allowances reflect the current programme position. Technical Competencies: Knowledge of all aspects of commercial management. Familiarity with various forms of contract. Knowledge of integrated reporting. Knowledge of IT systems relevant to Commercial Control. Behavioural Competencies: Team Leader. Able to focus on detail but still see the strategic picture. Able to hold their own and defend a position. Ability to present confidently to senior management. Strong focus on training and mentoring subordinates. Qualifications, Certifications and Experience: Relevant experience of commercial management. Experience of major (£100m) projects and Joint Venture arrangements Formal qualification RICS/CIOB or similar with relevant experience.
