For more information on the Company please visit www.cornishlithium.com Cornish Lithium are seeking enthusiastic and collaborative Process Technicians to work at the Company’s flagship Hard Rock project near the village of St. Dennis, Cornwall. Reporting to the Senior Shift Lead Metallurgist, the role will involve operation, monitoring and sampling of the Trelavour Hard Rock Demonstration Facility to ensure process control and product quality are achieved. The ideal candidate will have some experience of working in a relevant industry, and have excellent written and oral communication skills, as they will need to communicate successfully across all levels of the Company. As a Process Engineering Technician your responsibilities will include: Supporting the Senior Shift Lead Metallurgist and Shift Metallurgist in the safe and effective operation of the demonstration plant, which will include shift work. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure the safe and correct operation of equipment. Undertake routine sampling of selected streams as detailed by the sampling regime. Undertake sample preparation and metallurgical analyses for process control. We would welcome applicants with the following attributes: At least three years’ experience working as a Process Technician Sound knowledge of industrial machines and mechanical processes A good standard of Maths and Science Critical thinking skills Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels of the organization. Excellent communication skills. Self-starter Ability to work on own initiative, pro-active. Strong competence in IT Valid UK Driving licence Right to Work in the UK Desirable factors: Previous experience of chemical processing / engineering. Previous experience of mining industry, specifically lithium processing. Experience of SCADA systems. Forklift/telehandler licence.
