Required Skills/Experience What You'll Bring: - 5 years of Solution Engineering experience with a Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - Experience in developing individuals with both technical and soft skills - A strong level of accountability and governance ensuring excellence in customer experience. - Ability to engage with Customers and Internal Stakeholders to have strategic conversations around Enterprise Database architectures, particularly in trusted advisor roles with C-level executives in relation to IT services articulating service and technology solutions in terms of business value and risk. - Experience with MySQL or other databases offering. - General understanding of the Open Source community - General knowledge of competitor Offerings - Knowledge of industry trends and standards being adopted. - Proven ability to quickly learn new technical domains. Responsibilities What You'll Do: - Provide leadership to the Oracle MySQL Heatwave Solutions Engineering EMEA Team - Serve as the primary point of contact for Oracle MySQL Heatwave activities and Responsible for outcome of all engagements. - Support Sales teams during complete sales cycle with Customer meetings, Product Demo, Architecture discussions, Health checks, building return on investment/TCO. - Participates in strategy development. - Assists in the development of short-, medium-, and long-term plans to achieve strategic objectives. - Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives - Prepare and educate customers on new Product features, releases and best practice in a scalable and repeatable manner. - Serve as the customers advocate and provide feedback to product management and development organisation - Work with stakeholders in Technology Engineering and Product Management to ensure alignment and execute strategic growth plans - Conduct Quarterly business reviews - Continuous Engagement and interaction with C level executives. - Responsible for team's skill development by identifying and nominating individuals for right technical/non-technical trainings - Proactively drive consumption of MySQL Heatwave services across all EMEA Career Level - M3 About Us As a world leader in cloud solutions, Oracle uses tomorrow's technology to tackle today's challenges.
