Be part of a forward-thinking group that drives digital transformation and delivers cutting-edge application solutions, enabling real impact for the organisation and career growth for you About the role The General Applications Team covers a wide range of application development and support; and you will be focussing on building and maintaining bespoke applications using our chosen tool. The applications you develop will be used both internally by members of staff and externally by members of the public, contributing to delivering a great service to all. An example of this is our Welfare Assistance Scheme application, it has a public facing form that people can use to request financial help in a crisis and a downstream application that a team of staff use to process the requests. About you Essential: At least 18 months' experience in an application development role Programming languages; excellent k nowledge of JavaScript Programming Web development; excellent k nowledge of HTML and CSS Knowledge of API development Database management; knowledge of working with SQL databases Version control; familiarity with source code control (e.g., Git) Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG2.1/2.2) Desirable: Experience with Azure DevOps We welcome applications from candidates who currently reside in the UK with established proof of right to work documentation.
