Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Conducting property viewings, showing potential tenants their next home
* Helping with property inspections, making sure everything is up to standard
* Assisting with inventories and check-outs, keeping records accurate
* Managing maintenance requests, liaising with tenants, landlords, and contractors
* Supporting the tenant referencing process, ensuring compliance
* Providing general admin support to keep things running smoothly

* Customer Service: Apply a range of customer service skills in order to provide a professional, accurate, timely, ethical and non-judgemental front line service which meets the needs of a diverse range of customers and stakeholders
* Communication: Demonstrate appropriate communication skills to enable timely identification and/or resolution of issues for customers and appropriate signposting to other colleagues and/or partner agencies.
* Collaborative working: Work collaboratively with colleagues and partners to achieve individual, team and business targets.
* Respond to vulnerability: Use skill and judgment to understand the needs of vulnerable individuals and groups(including those with complex needs) and respond appropriately

Your training plan
As an apprentice you will be working towards your Level 3 in Housing and Property Management qualification. Total Training Provison will be your provider. This is a work-based apprenticeship, meaning you will earn while you learn, gaining hands-on experience in a real business environment.

You will work within our housing and property management team, applying what you learn directly to your day-to-day tasks. This practical approach ensures you develop the skills and knowledge needed to effectively manage properties, support tenants, and uphold housing regulations.
Dedicated Skills Coach
Throughout your apprenticeship, you will receive tailored support from a dedicated Skills Coach provided by Total Training Provision. They will guide you through your learning journey, offering:
* One-to-One Sessions – Regular personalised training to help you progress and excel in your role
* Expert Advice – Insights and feedback to build confidence in all aspects of housing and property management, from tenancy agreements to legal compliance
Blended Learning Approach
This apprenticeship combines practical work with structured learning, including:

* Assignments and projects tailored to your role, helping you apply what you learn in real-world scenarios
Off-The-Job Training
You will dedicate 20% of your time to off-the-job training, which may include:
* Shadowing colleagues to gain hands-on experience
* Attending workshops and training sessions
* Completing coursework and industry-related projects
* End-Point Assessment (EPA)
At the end of your apprenticeship, you will complete an End-Point Assessment (EPA) to demonstrate the skills, knowledge, and behaviors you’ve gained. Upon successful completion, you will achieve a nationally recognised qualification in Housing and Property Management, setting a strong foundation for your career in the sector.
