Main duties of the job
1. Collaborate with senior pharmacy and medical staff, the multidisciplinary team, and management representatives to achieve shared objectives aimed at enhancing pharmacy services for cancer patients.
2. Provide clinical pharmacy support during consultant ward rounds, multidisciplinary meetings, prescribing meetings, and other areas as agreed with the Principal Pharmacist for Cancer Services.
3. Serve as a prescribing pharmacist for cancer patients under the supervision of the Lead Cancer Clinicians and Principal Pharmacist for Cancer Services.
4. Ensure the safe, clinically effective, and cost-efficient use of medications in compliance with Trust policies, standard operating procedures, and relevant medicines legislation.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* A Pharmacy degree (Masters or Bachelors)
* Registered as a Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
* Postgraduate Clinical Diploma and/or equivalent clinical experience
* Completed Aseptic Preparation and Dispensing course
* Extensive, proven clinical hospital experience
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
* Experience in at least one of the following areas: Oncology, Haematology, or Aseptic Services
